The nice thing about Hayward pumps is that replacement parts are very easily available, and also that they are well made enough so that repairs are kept to a minimum.

One of the most common problems I see at the pool store is customers who say their pump isn’t working as well as it used to.  the first step is to look at the strainer pot, (the clear part), if there is any air or bubbles whatsoever, odds are is that the o’ring, or (seal) under the clear plastic needs to be replaced, usually due to dry rot.  This is the seal you need for the power flo lx HERE
